I currently teach yoga for a number of sports teams and athletes in and around the Philadelphia area. In 2015, I developed and implemented a yoga program for The Haverford School varsity lacrosse team under Head Coach and Athletic Director, John Nostrant. (His wife happens to be my health and well-being guru :)). Following that, I created and implemented a yoga program for Temple University Football. I have continued to bring my Yoga for Athletes program to Division I college teams, Inter-Ac high school teams, and club teams including teams at St. Joe's University, Villanova University, The US Naval Academy, Penn Charter, Boy's Latin of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
I have had the opportunity to work with a number of large organizations and corporations. I have led yoga retreats and workshops focused on topics from arm balances to essential oils to mindful living for students and business leaders. I have worked with individuals of a wide range of abilities and needs - teaching meditation to persons recovering from brain injury, neck injury and cancers; teaching yoga to persons recovering from surgery (shoulder, foot, neck, core repair), post-op hip and knee replacements, coping with arthritis and RA, and people with plain old bad balance or tight hamstrings!
I have been practicing yoga for over 13 years and teaching for about 5 years. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2013 and meditation teacher training in 2015.
After graduating from Penn State in 2013, I went right to work at a law firm in Philadelphia, intending on attending law school shortly after. (If you know me, you know that would have never worked out). While working full-time, I was teaching 2 or 3 yoga classes a week on the side. Two years later, I left the law firm to become a full time yoga teacher.
